Protect Our Children

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time for our Indigenous people to come together to create a safe and healthy environment for our future generations. It is also a time for building strong and supportive communities–essential for preventing child abuse and supporting victims and survivors.

Child abuse is a painful topic to consider. Yet, in silence, the cycle continues. Every child has a right to a safe childhood free of violence. Let’s promote safety, awareness, and dialogue. By doing so, we can prevent abuse from happening in the first place and help keep our children safe. If you suspect child abuse, report it! Every child deserves a hero!- Check out this video about protecting our children! Protect Our Children
